Dr Dimple Sawhney

Dr. Dimple Sawhney is a proud Longhorn with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. She completed her externships at Quantico Naval Hospital in Quantico, VA and Mann Eye Institute in Houston, TX, After graduation from optometry school, she moved to Manhattan where she worked in a fast paced prestigious medical and surgical eye care practice, which included LASIK and cataract surgery. There she served as the clinical coordinator and sub-investigator for an FDA clinical trial for cross-linking for keratoconus patients and a sub-investigator for the Visian lens FDA clinical trial. In her free time, Dr. Sawhney enjoys exploring Austin and travelling with her three kids, husband and two dogs. She is passionate about providing her patients with the most thorough eye care and addressing. She has a strong passion for constantly learning about new updates in the fast-paced world of dry eye disease management.
